The LUXIS PRO LED Post-Top Street Light is a premium architectural exterior luminaire designed for public realm areas, residential developments, pathways, landscaped spaces, car parks, schools, commercial premises and other amenity-lighting applications.

Combining a contemporary circular post-top design with selectable wattage and selectable colour temperature, the LUXIS PRO provides excellent flexibility from a single luminaire.

The fitting can be set to 30W, 40W or 60W, producing up to 8,400 lumens at 4000K, while the colour temperature can be selected between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K to suit the appearance and environmental requirements of the project. 

With high efficiency of approximately 140lm/W, IP66 protection, 10kV surge protection, a 100,000-hour rated life and a 7-year warranty with 2 years of on-site support, the LUXIS PRO provides a robust long-term solution for commercial and public-space lighting.

Wattage Selectable – 30W, 40W or 60W

The LUXIS PRO is a single wattage-selectable luminaire with three power settings:

• 30W – 4,200 lumens
• 40W – 5,600 lumens
• 60W – 8,400 lumens

These lumen outputs are based on the 4000K setting and provide a consistent efficacy of approximately 140 lumens per watt.

The selectable-output design allows the light level to be adjusted during installation without changing the luminaire.

Lower settings can be used for pathways, residential areas and smaller amenity spaces, while the 60W setting provides increased output for car parks, public spaces, access routes and larger commercial areas.

The wattage can also provide useful flexibility where lighting calculations show that the full 60W output is not required.

 

CCT Selectable – 2700K, 3000K & 4000K

The LUXIS PRO allows the colour temperature to be selected between three options.

2700K Warm White

2700K provides the warmest appearance within the range and is particularly suitable for residential developments, rural locations, landscaped areas and projects where a softer night-time appearance is preferred.

The warmer colour temperature can also form part of a dark-sky-conscious lighting strategy when combined with appropriate light levels, positioning, controls and optical design.

3000K Warm White

3000K provides a warm but slightly clearer appearance and is well suited to pathways, parks, residential developments, hotels, leisure facilities and public-realm applications.

4000K Cool White

4000K provides a neutral white appearance and is suitable for commercial car parks, schools, access roads and other applications where greater visual clarity is preferred.

The selectable CCT function allows the same fitting to be used across projects with different aesthetic and environmental requirements.

 

120° Wide-Area Light Distribution

The LUXIS PRO uses a broad 120° optical distribution designed to provide wide illumination around the post-top luminaire.

Its centrally mounted circular design makes it particularly suitable where lighting needs to be distributed around the column rather than projected predominantly in one direction.

This makes the LUXIS PRO particularly effective for:

Contemporary Post-Top Design

The LUXIS PRO is mounted centrally on top of the lighting column, providing a clean architectural appearance without the requirement for a separate outreach bracket.

Its circular form makes it particularly suitable for developments where the visual appearance of the lighting equipment is an important part of the overall landscape or architectural design.

The luminaire measures approximately 450mm in diameter × 318mm height and weighs approximately 8kg. 

 

Photocell Option

The LUXIS PRO is available either with or without automatic photocell control.

Where the photocell version is selected, the luminaire is supplied complete with a NEMA photocell for automatic dusk-to-dawn operation.

This allows the lantern to automatically switch on as ambient daylight levels fall and switch off again after sunrise.

Where automatic photocell operation is not required, the no-photocell version can be used with conventional switching or an alternative external control system.

 

Suitable for 60mm to 76mm Lighting Columns

The LUXIS PRO is designed for post-top mounting onto compatible lighting columns with top diameters between 60mm and 76mm.

This provides compatibility with a wide range of commercial lighting columns and allows the luminaire to be used directly on suitable Wydels columns without requiring a conventional side-entry lantern bracket.

10kV Surge Protection

The LUXIS PRO incorporates 10kV surge protection to provide additional protection against transient overvoltage within exterior lighting installations.

This is particularly beneficial for lighting-column installations where electronic components can be exposed to electrical surges caused by switching events or disturbances within the electrical network.

 

Robust IP66 Construction

The LUXIS PRO is manufactured from die-cast aluminium with a tempered glass optical cover.

Its IP66 ingress-protection rating provides protection against dust and powerful water jets, making the fitting suitable for permanent exterior installations.

The luminaire is designed to operate across an ambient temperature range from -40°C to +50°C, providing a robust solution for year-round exterior use.

 

100,000-Hour Rated Lifetime

2700K Option for Sensitive Lighting Schemes

The availability of a 2700K setting makes the LUXIS PRO particularly useful where a warmer colour temperature is preferred for planning, ecological or aesthetic reasons.

2700K can provide a softer night-time appearance than conventional cooler-white exterior lighting and may be suitable for residential developments, rural sites, pathways and landscaped spaces.

Colour temperature alone does not determine whether a lighting scheme is dark-sky friendly, so output, mounting height, operating hours and overall light distribution should also be considered.
